A new show has just been announced. We are going to be playing live on Thursday, August 28 at T.T. the Bear’s Place in Cambridge, MA. T.T.’s, as it is affectionately called, is one of the oldest live music clubs (under the same name) in the Boston area. Dating back to 1992, Elsewhere played its first four shows at T.T.’s in Cambridge’s lovely Central Square. The show will be courtesy of our good friend Dan, Anvil Entertainment, and his band, haVeBlue. We will keep you updated on the other bands that we will be playing with as those names become available.

April 14th, 2008Elsewhere has been working hard in the studio the last few months and wants to come out of its shell. We will be having our first live performance in more than two years this coming Saturday, April 19 at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge’s Central Square. Get ready to hear a few of our new songs along with some of your favorite Elsewhere tunes from yesteryear. We will be performing with one of our high school buddies, Dan Batchelor, who has been ruling the New York circuit with his band, haVe Blue.

April 1st, 2008Yes, it is true. We will be performing live at the Cantab Lounge in Central Square, Cambridge on Saturday, April 19th. This is our first show in two years, so be prepared for some new and exciting material. If you’re all nice, you’ll get to hear some of the songs that we are recording in the studio.

You Win Some, You Lose Some
February 8th, 2008Well folks, the New England Patriots failed in their pursuit of perfection. However, your friends in Elsewhere are still proud of their triumphant season.
Now onto the important stuff. We survived the studio sessions. Everyone lived; including producer extraordinaire Dave Minehan. We laid down the drums tracks for all four songs and rocked it hard. Hopefully, we will be able to include “To The Surface” and “Retreat” as part of this project. Dave also came up with some great suggestions to spice up our arrangements to increase your enjoyment of our songs.

Exciting Weekend Planned
January 31st, 2008We have a very exciting weekend ahead. The New England Patriots are continuing their pursuit of perfection and we head to the studio. What more can anyone ask for? We had our last rehearsal this past Tuesday and, barring the power outages, we rocked it out. I hope you are as pumped and jacked as we are.
Also, we may have a show this spring with some of our old high school friends that are now based in New York. With any luck, we will be in our former homebase, Cambridge’s Central Square, or lovely JP.

December 31st, 2007Your friends from Elsewhere will be heading to Woolly Mammoth Sound Studio in Waltham in January/February 2008 to record a few new songs.
